CableMax Kinect Compatible USB 16' Extension Cable

Set up your Xbox's Kinect unit further away from your Xbox 360 keeping your Home Theater clean and professional The specification for USB states that the maximum length of a USB cable is 5 meters (16 feet). As a result, you cannot extend the distance of your USB device more than 16 feet without using a USB "active" extension cable (also known as a USB repeater cable). This cable contains active electronics which boost the USB signal for maximum reliability and performance over extended distances. Testing the Xbox Kinect with these extension cables, we found that you could daisy chain up to 4 of these together and it would work.

Please note: This cable will only work on Microsoft Kinect modules purchased separately from an Xbox console. The Xbox + Kinect bundle kits cannot be extended with this cable.
