This USB 2.0 Extension Cable has a second male USB plug to give additional power to the extender, up to 300ma of power at the end that will power most USB devices. The USBG-65X 65ft. Active Extension Cable also features an active power LED indicator and includes an AC Adapter plug to give even more power, up to 500ma of power at the end that will power most USB devices.

The 65ft. Active USB Extension Cable is not a passive cable and provides for no data loss over the length of the cable, has a patent pending ASIC chip inside that buffers the in-going and outgoing USB signals. Passive cables have the risk of data loss because they cannot pass the signals efficiently.
