The USA-861 4 port USB to serial adapter is a universal USB to RS-485/422 converter, no external power supply, built-in optical isolators and DC / DC power isolation module. Compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.0, RS-422, RS-485 standard, the ability to single-ended USB signals into balanced differential RS-422 or RS-485 signal, the built-in optical isolator can provide up to 2500Vrms isolation voltage with fast Transient voltage suppression protection.

The optical isolated interface converter provides for point to point and multi-point communication to establish reliable connectivity, multi-point allows each port connection to be connected to Port 128 RS-422 or RS-485 interface devices. Supports data communication speeds of 300-128000bps, with a power LED indicator light and data traffic indicator LED to indicate a fault condition, supports communication with a USB to RS-422, USB to RS-485 converter.
